ENLi 2008
My talk, La comunidad GNOME para principiantes (The GNOME community for beginners), seems to have gone over well here at ENLi 2008 (the 2008 National Linux Meeting in Puebla, Mexico), with a big audience and interesting followup questions. The slides are available as a collection of plain PNG and JPEG images in a zip archive (use the link above).
I’m having an excellent time. Will post some pictures from the conference later.
Update: Pictures.
My wonderful audience
I clearly didn’t bring enough openSUSE discs

Cool. Nice slides btw, understood perfectly what you wanted to say even though you don’t explain anything explicitly.
It’s quite sad that in Mexico it’s so easy to get to talk at conferences while here in Norway everything is bureaucratic and nobody cares to hear you unless you are RMS. It really feel like grassroots is dead in Norway and very much alive in Mexico.
Maru doesn’t look exactly enthralled in that first photo.
Michael: She’s probably worried that I’m about to make a fool of myself
It was a pleasure to be there and listened you, congratulations.
[…] nitr0us que solo se burlaba de que nos dejo el avión jaja, Entramos a ver una conferencia de HansPetter, después de eso nos fuimos al hotel donde nos hospedaríamos toda la banda, se veis bien chistoso […]
Congratulations, I couldn’t be present because my work but slides are too interesting. By the way, and the call? I couldn’t contact. I keep with OpenSUSE trying understand some bugs.
Tarde pero sin sueño!
Mmm seguro te fue bien, no seas tan modesto.
Felicidades
You need to blag more! You haven’t even mentioned that you’re in Norway now…
Hey! Are you in Norway? You’ll be back?… Yeah yeah, you need to blag more.
